Had this on the want to go list for some time. Finally made it. Neat little restaurant that’s a bit of a hidden gem. Small location. Quiet with a great seasonal menu. Wait staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered wine and entrees. The serving size was appropriate and not too much. We asked for a special dessert. The waitress worked with the kitchen to accommodate our request. It was wonderful. (See pics for ice cream. Caramel and scotch) Would definitely recommend!!!

This place is an amazing little spot in Oakville! Friends and I enjoyed our meals, sharing Starters and the dessert. We met the chef who was very nice and gave us some insight on how she plans the menu. The fancy mixed drinks are very unique and work well with the menu! The menu is seasonal and we had the Winter 2023 menu but we'll be back to try the Spring menu in April!

Cellar House is a fantastic spot with a nice modern farmhouse aesthetic. The place has a clean, contemporary feel with subway tiles on the walls, wooden benches, and steel chairs with backing. The large bar runs the length of the restaurant, featuring about 15 seats, while the dining area has around 20 tables. The staff are friendly, warm, and inviting, always ready to help and provide information. Originally an extension of a wine store, Cellar House has grown into a top-notch dining establishment. Their wine list and cocktails are impressive, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You can come in jeans or dress up a bit more – they just want you to enjoy the fresh, from-scratch food that speaks for itself. I had the power bowl with ahi tuna, and it was great. The flavors were spot-on, though it was a bit salty for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, Cellar House offers a wonderful dining experience in a laid-back yet stylish setting.

All in all a nice dining experience and very friendly/attentive staff - their service in that regard has never disappointed! I did feel that the fried fish entree at this visit might have been a little over cooked, but it was still a pleasant meal!! Oh, and the brussel sprouts are definitely a great option!!

Good vibe. Great food. We sat at the bar and our bartender gave great suggestions on cocktails and food. Feels a little tight inside, but there was a lot of seating outside. We had Hughes’ Forbidden Fruit which I loved, The Norman Hole and I Hope it’s Cheeky cocktails. Started with Baked Goat Cheese and delicious homemade pita chips. Hubby had pork chop and I had Pappardelle. Both were excellent. Would come again.

We liked the food at Cellar House, but disliked the experience. I guess you could argue that the food was more important. Three of us went for a friend's birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening. Cellar House is in Dierberg's Plaza on Telegraph Road in south St. Louis County, and it was nicely decorated for the holiday season. We thought that the ambience was uncomfortably claustrophobic, and the place was packed. The tables were so close together that every time the server went to the table next to ours, he stuck his butt in my face. We found it difficult to have a conversation over dinner because of the noise. Our server and the staff in general were pleasant, but the service was a little slow because of the sheer number of customers in the place. We found the menu to be interesting but somewhat pretentious for a neighborhood restaurant. For example, they called mashed potatoes "pomme puree". On the positive side, there were several gluten-free choices. The food was well-prepared, well-presented, and tasty. I enjoyed the ham sliders with "pomme frites" (french fries), which were among the best I ever had. My companions both had the pork porterhouse (large pork chop), and really enjoyed it. It was tender, nicely seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Our server gave our birthday girl a free dessert, even though none of us ordered dessert. The owners have apparently found a niche to provide upscale casual dining in south County, because the place is very popular. You can't argue with success. We liked our meals, and we will try to go back another time when it's less crowded.

Varied experience with food. 3/4 of our party enjoyed our food. Ham sliders were good, slaw was able to be put on the side, though it was clear maraschino cherries were involved in the glaze and jalapeños were involved in the jam (not disclosed). The french dip was good, as were the fries, mac and cheese, and goat cheese appetizer. The pork porterhouse was just about the saltiest meal I have ever tasted. It tasted like it was brined, seasoned, and serves with salt while also being cooked on a salt block. It made it hardly edible and contaminated the mashed potatoes and carrots that were paired with it, making it difficult to enjoy the sides. The server took a European waiting style, slow and steady. Taking time to approach us, which we did not mind as much, though other tables seemed to get better attention. All staff were kind and helpful. Parking is a little tight. Overall a decent experience, despite the high price point, which overall does not match the aesthetics of the bistro style interior or the casual uniform of staff.

An very extensive range of wines and spirits. The beer selection has selections from a few local micro breweries. The menu has items inspired by what is typically found at bars, but each item is chef prepared and plated well. The menu items can be accented with items such as shrimp and other recommendations found in the menu descriptions. There is outdoor seating available. This place is well attended by locals, and reservations are recommended. The restrooms are very clean. The ladies' room has sented lotions available. The wait staff are very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu items. I like cheeseburgers and their smashburger is very good. The beef is ground in the restaurant and seasoned well. Long sliced pickles blend well with the mustard aioli.
